Unveiling the Marvels of Red Ginseng in Skincare
Are you looking to elevate your skincare routine with a powerhouse ingredient? Look no further than red ginseng extract.
What is Red Ginseng?
Red ginseng is a superstar botanical extract derived from the root of the ginseng plant. Its recent surge in popularity within the skincare realm is a testament to its remarkable efficacy.
Ginseng in general has a long history of use in skincare, dating back thousands of years in traditional medicine. Its skincare benefits have been recognized in various cultures, including traditional Chinese medicine and Korean skincare practices. The root of the ginseng plant has been prized for its rejuvenating and healing properties, leading to its incorporation into skincare routines. With its rich history and proven benefits, ginseng continues to be a popular and effective ingredient to add to formulations to this day.

Why We Chose Red Ginseng
We chose to add red ginseng to our Serum because, I truly believe, if cultures used natural ingredients for thousands of years before us, there must be a reason why. I’ve said it before, and I'll say it again, what better way to test the effectiveness of an ingredient than to analyze how generations before us used it, all over the world.
A lot of you have heard me reference this, but I had a facial surgery done a few years ago and unfortunately the stitches left visible scars on my right cheek and under my eyebrow. A dermatologist at the time recommended I use a Vitamin C serum from a well known medical brand and to my dismay, after spending $208 on a small serum, it didn’t do anything. That’s when I decided my brand will never be unaffordable. People shouldn’t have to feel uncomfortable financially, to feel confident in their skin.
This was actually during the time we started formulating the Serum and I told the lab, I’m your guinea pig! I want these scars gone, so let's find a formula that can accomplish the job.
14 sample formulations later, my scars were gone. It truly is a testament to the power of this plant. We added a whopping 7% to our formulation (which also contains other ingredients) but that is very high for the skincare industry because it’s so expensive.
So, you have a scar you don’t like, apply twice a day and be consistent and you will see a difference within 6 months or so. I’m not allowed to say I promise, but wink wink.
Ok, enough of that, let's dive into the world of red ginseng and discover how else it can work wonders for your skin.
